Bundaberg woman charged with murder following suspicious death in Mackay

A woman has been charged with murder following the death of woman at Glenella in Mackay.

Emergency crews were called to the Burge Court property at 11.20am, where they discovered a 73-year-old Bundaberg woman deceased.

A crime scene was declared, and a 55-year-old woman was taken into police custody.

Police say the two women are known to each other.

The 55-year-old Bundaberg woman has been charged with one count of murder (domestic violence) and will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court this morning.
