Two men have been charged with drug offences after police allegedly found three kilos of methamphetamine in their car at Sarina.
Police intercepted the 25-year-old and 19-year-old from New South Wales, after a Toyota Rav4 was reported speeding on Broad Street just after 10pm on Saturday (July 22).
A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed three kilograms of methamphetamine, two grams of cocaine and more than $9000 in cash.
The 25-year-old New South Wales man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
The 19-year-old New South Wales man has been charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs and has been fined $1,161 for allegedly travelling 101km/h in a 70km zone on the Bruce Highway.
Both appeared in Proserpine Magistrates Court yesterday (July 24), where according to Newscorp they’ve been remanded in custody.
